How Peter and Teresa started working smarter
Peter posted on Next Door about a problem he was having with his wi-fi at home.
Peter and his wife Teresa both worked from home and needed a reliable internet connection to do Zoom and Teams meetings.
Their connection wasn’t working for them – it was moving slowly and dropping out regularly, causing frustration and affecting their productivity and efficiency.
Solution
I answered Peter’s message on Next Door.
Peter was in the process of trying to set up a new wi-fi system but wasn’t sure how to guarantee full coverage in the house.
At 1300 square foot with very thick walls, Peter and Teresa needed a system that covered the entire house as well as the garden.
I recommended six routers in total to guarantee full coverage to the whole house, making sure the couple could also get a wi-fi connection in the garden.
Now, Peter and Teresa have full coverage everywhere and it’s made it so much easier for them to work and stay in touch with friends and family.
I also upgraded them to full fibre broadband, which has improved the speed from 80MB on their standard broadband package to 422MB on the day of installation on the new full fibre package.
They can now work from home in comfort and confidence, without the irritation of disconnections.
